Education Review Office (ERO) Report

We are proud to share our most recent Education Review Office (ERO) report with our current and prospective families.

The Education Review Office (ERO) is a New Zealand government agency that independently reviews and evaluates the quality of education and care provided by early childhood services and schools. ERO’s role is to help ensure that all children receive high-quality education in safe, supportive, and nurturing learning environments.

During an ERO review, the reviewers look at many aspects of a service, including:

  • The quality of teaching and learning.
  • Children’s wellbeing, learning, and development.
  • Leadership and management.
  • Health and safety practices.
  • Relationships with children, whānau, and the wider community.
  • How the service reflects the principles of Te Whāriki, New Zealand’s Early Childhood Curriculum.

An ERO report provides an independent evaluation of a service’s strengths, identifies areas for ongoing development, and recognises the commitment to continuous improvement. It reflects how well a service supports positive outcomes for children and the steps it is taking to continue growing.

We encourage you to read our latest report to gain an independent insight into our preschool, our teaching practices, and our commitment to providing high-quality early childhood education and care.

We are incredibly proud of our team and the positive learning environment we have created for our tamariki and whānau, and we remain committed to continually reflecting, learning, and improving to provide the very best outcomes for every child.
